He/ Him
Bachelor of Information Technology
I wanted to become a student representative with the aim of actively engaging in our university community. My motivation comes from a desire to address the concerns and needs of fellow students, working towards creating a safer and more enriching experience for everyone on campus.
As a Bachelor of IT student, I really like the Mawson Lakes campus because it strikes a balance between high-tech facilities and a relaxing natural environment. On one side, you've got all the modern tech and great study spaces for academics. But on the flip side, there are these spacious green fields where you can chill and take a break when needed. It's a cool mix of advanced stuff and a peaceful escape that makes studying here pretty enjoyable.
Prioritize time management and self-care. Balancing academics and personal well-being is essential for a successful university experience.
I'm excited about two UniSA events: Drag Night, a fun and artistic experience, and the Campus Fair, the best place to join clubs and make new friends.
Hanging out with my friends is always the best thing to bring me in a good mood, and relax.
I prioritize my mental well-being through a combination of practices that resonate with me. Meditation and regular gym sessions help me stay centered and physically fit. Seeking psychological support when needed has been invaluable in navigating life's challenges.
But it's not just about individual practices; I believe in the power of community and active engagement. Being part of activities and the local community is uplifting, and I've learned to say 'yes' to opportunities that bring a smile to my face.
If I had the chance to dine with someone, it'd definitely be Coco Chanel. Her fashion sense was way ahead of its time, focusing on simplicity, practicality, and sheer elegance. Believe it or not, those principles strike a chord not just with fashionistas but also with the tech crowd. Coco's timeless style and her knack for user-centric design vibes perfectly with the heart of the IT industry. Imagine chatting with her about how her design philosophy has seeped into the digital world, making user interfaces and tech products sleek and user-friendly. That dinner would be like a crossroads of fashion, tech, and design – a fantastic insight into how Coco Chanel's ideas still shape the IT world today.
