2025 NUS NatCon Delegates Election

The National Union of Students (NUS) is the peak representative and advocacy body for Australian University students. Each year in December, the NUS holds its National Conference (NatCon) in Melbourne, where delegates elected from all affiliated Universities across Australia vote on the next year’s policy platform and hold elections for office-bearers and state-branch leadership.

As an affiliated entity, USASA facilitates the election of these delegates for UniSA. We usually hold it alongside the Board Election, but this year it will be standalone because of the merger.

The following timeline has been established for the election of the 7 delegates from UniSA that earn a vote at the 2025 National Conference:

  • Nominations open: 9am Monday 13 October - 4pm Friday 17 October
  • Voting open: 9am Wednesday 29 October - 4pm Friday 31 October
  • Results announced: 5pm Friday 31 October
