The National Union of Students (NUS) is an organisation run by students from affiliated Universities all across Australia.

The NUS hold a National Conference in December each year and a certain number of delegates per affiliated University are invited to attend. The election for the seven (7) NUS delegates from UniSA is held at the same time as the USASA election via the same nomination form and voting platform.

The outcome of the USASA election and the NUS election are not linked and you do not need to run for the USASA Board to run for NUS Delegate or vice versa.

You can find out more details about this role here.

All candidates must attend one of these compulsory candidate briefings (in its entirety). Please note that alternative arrangements are at the discretion of the Returning Officer.

You will receive the Zoom link with your personalised nomination confirmation email. Late attendees will not be admitted, so please ensure you are on time.

All elected representatives are required to attend the compulsory USASA Board Retreat on 19 and 20 January 2022 in Adelaide.

Elected representatives who do not attend this Retreat without approved leave will vacate their position on the Board. Requests for leave must be submitted before the close of nominations. Any request following the close of nominations must be on the basis of circumstances arising after 4pm Friday 17 September 2021.

Candidates who indicate they are unable to attend will have the leave request form included in their nomination confirmation email.

A scan or a photograph is acceptable. If you are an online student and do not have a physical ID card, please submit a screenshot of your current enrolment summary.
