My name is Surya Bharat Tomar and I am running for the Mawson Lakes Representative position with UNITE.

UNITE is a passionate and diverse team of experienced student leaders, who advocate that your voice is listened to, and heard.

This year we’ve been advocating for:

Expanding financial support for students during the cost-of-living crisis.

Fighting for a Student Food Pantry on campus.

New Pool, Foosball and Arcade Machines in Student Spaces.

Supporting our clubs and student community, while fighting to bring life back to campus with bigger and better USASA events.

Fighting for more of a say for online students within USASA and the University.

Ensuring that all students are safe when arriving, leaving, or on campus.

Ensuring UniSA students voices are heard during the merger.

I’m running for Mawson Lakes Student Representative because I’m passionate about making sure students have a real say in how our university is run. I’ve seen the challenges we face, whether it’s financial struggles, the need for better student spaces or it being additional support in studies, and I want to be part of the solution. I believe I can help create a campus that feels more supportive and vibrant for everyone, whether on campus or studying online. With the upcoming changes at UniSA, students will have a say in shaping their future.

We’ve been actively involved in fighting for a better university over the past few years, and we need your vote to keep delivering.
