Zoe Hughes

My name is Zoe and I am running for the Magill Student Representative with UNITE.

UNITE is a passionate and diverse team of experienced student leaders, who advocate for your voice is listened to, and heard.

This year we’ve been advocating for:

  • Expanding financial support for students during the cost of living crisis.
  • Fighting for a Student Food Pantry on campus.
  • New Pool, Foosball and Arcade Machines in Student Spaces.
  • Supporting our clubs and student community, while fighting to bring life back to campus with bigger and better USASA events.
  • Fighting for more of a say for online students within USASA and the University.
  • Ensuring that all students are safe when arriving, leaving, or on campus.
  • Ensuring UniSA students voices are heard during the merger.

I’ve always been an advocate for the rights and wants of others and this is something I want to do through USASA. Also I want to put more events and life out at Magill. As someone from the country that moved up for University, I know first hand that it isn’t easy. I want to be able to make this experience better and help students make connections with each other!

We’ve been actively involved in fighting for a better university over the past few years, and we need your vote to keep delivering.
