Haider Surka

My name is Haider Surka and I am running for the City West Student Representative position with UNITE.

UNITE is a passionate and diverse team of experienced student leaders, who advocate for your voice to be listened to and heard. This year we’ve been advocating for:

  • Expanding financial support for students during the cost of living crisis.
  • Fighting for a Student Food Pantry on campus.
  • New pool, foosball, and arcade machines in student spaces.
  • Supporting our clubs and student community, while fighting to bring life back to campus with bigger and better USASA events.
  • Fighting for more of a say for online students within USASA and the University.
  • Working towards students safety when arriving, leaving, or on campus.
  • Advocating for UniSA students’ voices to be heard during the merger.

I want to run for improvement of City West OP Shop: We'll expand our preloved clothing selection, promoting sustainable fashion and providing affordable, quality options on campus.

These projects will help us save money, support each other, and boost campus sustainability. We are dedicated to making it a reality for our community.

We’ve been actively involved in fighting for a better university over the past few years, and we need your vote to keep delivering.
