Hello, I’m Tony Yuan, and I’m running for the position of City East Student Representative. As a dedicated student deeply invested in our university community, I believe I have the vision and passion to effectively advocate for our collective needs.

My three years experiences as an Occupational Therapy international student have given me a deep understanding of the campus, the various student concerns, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Whether it's addressing academic challenges, enhancing campus facilities, or organizing social events, I’ve always sought to contribute positively to our university experience.

If elected, my primary goals are to improve communication between students and administration, advocate for more accessible resources and support services, and promote initiatives that enhance student well-being and engagement. In addition, I will foster the connection between local and international students to create a diverse and welcoming Uni environment for everyone. I am committed to ensuring that every voice is heard and that diverse perspectives are represented in decision-making processes.

I bring strong leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine dedication to serving our student body. My approach will be proactive and transparent, seeking input from all corners of our community to drive meaningful change.

Together, we can make our university a place where everyone feels valued and empowered. I ask for your support and vote to make these goals a reality. Let’s work together to build a better university experience for all of us.

Thank you for your consideration.
