My name is Meetali and I am running for the City East Student Representative with UNITE.
UNITE is a passionate and diverse team of experienced student leaders, who advocate for your voice is listened to, and heard.
This year we’ve been advocating for:
Expanding financial support for students during the cost-of-living crisis.
Fighting for a Student Food Pantry on campus.
New Pool, Foosball and Arcade Machines in Student Spaces.
Supporting our clubs and student community, while fighting to bring life back to campus with bigger and better USASA events.
Fighting for more of a say for online students within USASA and the University.
Ensuring that all students are safe when arriving, leaving, or on campus.
Ensuring UniSA students voices are heard during the merger.
Running for the student representative role at USASA excites me because I want to enhance the student experience at UniSA. As an advocate for student voices, I believe in addressing concerns, fostering inclusion, and creating a supportive environment. My experience as a student voice delegate and involvement in clubs and volunteering teams have given me insight into students' challenges and the importance of proper representation. I aim to bridge the gap between students and university management, advocating for policies that improve wellbeing, academic success, and the overall student experience. We’ve been actively involved in fighting for a better university over the past few years, and we need your vote to keep delivering.
