Penny Pan

My name is Penny, and I am running for a postgraduate representative with the REFORM team.

REFORM is a new team this year, and our goal is to bring fresh perspectives and reform to the USASA Board. For too long, the USASA Board has been dominated by a single group, and we believe it is crucial to introduce different voices.

Our goal is to ensure that your voices are heard and your needs are prioritized.

In 2025, if elected, the REFORM team and I aim to:

• Advocate for student voices to be part of the university merger process,

• Oppose potential staff cuts to safeguard education quality,

• Promote the continuation of face-to-face learning after the merger,

• Secure increased funding for USASA Clubs,

• Support more employment opportunities for students,

• Defend the rights of mature students,

• Advocate for fairer scholarship opportunities for international students,

• Promote equal support services for students from disadvantaged backgrounds,

• Launch the USASA Food Pantry Program to help address the cost of living crisis.

USASA is a platform where every student can be heard, and if elected, I will work with my team to advocate for more resources and policy improvements. Together, we aim to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive.
