I am excited to once again nominate myself for the position of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Representative with USASA. Since joining USASA in late 2019, I have had the privilege of working alongside a diverse and passionate group of students, dedicated to enhancing the student experience at UniSA. This opportunity has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by our student community.

Throughout my time with USASA, I have been actively involved in initiatives that improve student engagement, promote student well-being, and foster inclusivity. I have worked on projects that advocate for the needs of all students, irrespective of their background, culture, or identity. My goal has always been to ensure that everyone - whether Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, international or domestic, undergraduate or postgraduate - feels supported and represented within our university community.

I am passionate about continuing this important work and representing the interests of all students at UniSA and I look forward to the opportunity to continue this work in 2025.

Sincerely,

Rhys Peden
