About us

The aim of this club is to provide Tourism and Event Management students with the opportunity to gain experience in both the Tourism and Event Management Industry and create important contacts that they can use once they have completed the course. The club also aims to create a social atmosphere that will encourage members to get involved in activities outside their academic timetables.

The club hopes to offer the ability to plan and execute events throughout the university, gain information from industry professionals via special events including guest speakers, set up a contact database for the possibility of work experience in the industry and also social events such as pub crawls, quiz nights and a study group for the subjects studied in the Tourism and Event Management course.

The University of South Australia Student Association acknowledges the Kaurna, Boandik and Barngarla First Nations People as the traditional custodians of the unceded lands now home to the University of South Australia’s campuses in Adelaide, Mount Gambier and Whyalla. We respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia. It was and always will be Aboriginal land.
