Evangelical Students

We are a Christian group which welcomes people who know Jesus and those who might have questions about him and the Bible.

About us

We welcome anyone with questions about God, faith and the Bible. Based on all major campuses around Australia, ES is a great way to meet new people at uni and to make great friends. ES runs a variety of regular events on all 4 Adelaide campuses with weekly Bible Talks and Bible Study Groups.

We also run two major camps each year:

  • Commencement Camp - a 3-day camp before uni starts to meet new friends and find out about life at uni and
  • Mid-Year Conference - a 5-day camp/conference in the mid-year holidays which focuses on a big topic in the Bible.

There are also a variety of social events which run throughout the year where you can connect with others at uni plus our annual Jesus Week in the 2nd semester to help people find out more about who Jesus is and what he means for our lives today.

We are an inter-denominational Christian group that aims to:

  • introduce people on campus to Jesus,
  • encourage everyone to grow a personal faith in and love for Jesus
  • equip you with university-level engaging Bible teaching and
  • help you work out how to apply the Bible in your everyday life.

ES is affiliated with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES)
Contact us if you would like to participate in a bible study on any UniSA campus, or come along to any of our events!

The University of South Australia Student Association acknowledges the Kaurna, Boandik and Barngarla First Nations People as the traditional custodians of the unceded lands now home to the University of South Australia’s campuses in Adelaide, Mount Gambier and Whyalla. We respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia. It was and always will be Aboriginal land.
