University of South Australia Hindu Youth Society (USAHYS)

About us

The University of South Australia Hindu Youth Society (USAHYS) is a student-led, faith-based club that offers a welcoming and intellectually enriching environment grounded in the principles of Hindu Dharma (Hinduism). USAHYS is open to all students, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, or religious background, who are interested in exploring the spiritual, philosophical, and ethical dimensions of Hindu thought. Hinduism is a living, global tradition practised vibrantly in Australia, Fiji, Nepal, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Indonesia (Bali), the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and across more than 180 countries. In Australia, Hinduism is the third largest religion with over 684,000 followers. USAHYS reflects this identity and the universal relevance of Hindu values in today’s world.
