Working on Wellness

Activations, freebies & more thanks to USASA! 

Last month USASA celebrated Working on Wellness – an action-packed month designed to help you focus on your mental health and wellbeing. USASA activated campuses and online spaces with more than 45 activities including crafts, nature walks, nap nooks, rage rooms, cooking classes, booklets, pins and HEAPS more! The campaign might be over for 2021 but you can still write a message on the gratitude wall and download the activity book below.

This October USASA is hosting the movie night of all movie nights! Get your friends together and come along to this private viewing of Free Guy on the big screen at Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas.

Everyday stresses impact our health both mentally and physically but most of us find it difficult to change our hectic lifestyles or even make time or routine for mindfulness. The benefit nature provides has been scientifically proven with research showing that spending time connecting with nature can reduce high blood pressure and lower heart rates, cortisol levels plus boost the immune system and increase feelings of wellbeing and wellness. Nature offers a unique therapy that gives us the opportunity to slow us down, deepen our connection to the earth and heighten the senses.

We walk slow and offer invitations to enhance connection with nature covering maybe 1 km in total over a 2-hour session.
