UniSA Rocketry is a student led space and rocketry club which provides hands-on aerospace projects for students.
The club competes in annual Australian Universities Rocketry Competition (AURC), an engineering design & build competition where teams from around Australia design, manufacture and launch high-powered rockets up to an altitude of 9km above ground level. This is a significant undertaking, requiring team members from all engineering disciplines, IT, business and other areas to ensure a successful project.
We will also be running ongoing aerospace projects, such as CubeSat builds, high-altitude balloon launches and amateur rocket launches throughout the year. Industry engagement is another key part of our club’s plan for the year, with several aerospace industry panels and events being planned.
Club members will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects within South Australia’s emerging space industry, refining their technical and professional skills in preparation for industry projects. Mentorship, collaboration and teamwork are key values that we aim to foster, with the aim of providing an innovative outlet for students with a passion for space and ideas to share.
All students are welcome to join, regardless of your area of study.
