Seeing students struggle in various fields and their voices not being heard was my main reason for becoming a board representative and the idea of being able to represent a cohort of students appealed me towards this.
Getting an equal balance between all students and helping them with their special circumstances, especially when they feel like they are not being heard.
I am from Mawson Lakes Campus and the best part about this is parking spaces and the student lounge coming with activities.
Study hard, don't get distracted and believe in yourself.
Gaming and hanging out with my friends.
Naruto, because why not!!
Follow my passion, going into painting and arts.
This month has been entertaining and fascinating. To enhance student services and representation, I took part in student engagement initiatives throughout the previous month. I went to Mawson Lakes' orientation programs, which welcomed new and international students, gave them important information, and urged them to get involved on campus. I spoke with students at campus fairs, heard their issues, and helped them find resources for support.
Additionally, I went to training seminars on board governance and financial management. I spoke with the undergraduate representative about it, but we were unable to arrange a time to exchange views. I intend to finish it this week. These initiatives demonstrate my continued dedication to making sure student opinions are heard and creating a welcoming campus community.
Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is doing well. Last month has been hectic and intensive in learning new things from time to time. Over the past few weeks, many meaningful opportunities have come, and I have learned a lot from them. One of the key highlights was the Cultural Awareness training. Apart from that, I have had the chance to interact with students and guide them towards the right services that we provide, whether this help was related to their personal or their professional needs.
Overall, this period has been productive and more interactive for me as a student representative. I am thankful to USASA for giving me the opportunity to help students and guide them. I look forward to what comes in the next months working as a student representative.
Hoping everyone is doing well. This month has been hectic for me and I was not able to get involved much with the Board. I attended the Board meetings as well as the Governance and Clubs Committee meetings. Other than that, the interactions with my peers have been a highlight for me this month. I apologise for the inactivity and appreciate everyone for their support. I’m looking forward to working more actively now.
