USASA Exam-in-aid statement

In 2015 and 2016 USASA provided exam-in-aid, an ‘exam assistance station’, at exam locations during key exam periods. This station was staffed by USASA staff and board members who provided useful information, pens, pencils and calculator hire to UniSA students in need.

In 2017, USASA will not be able to continue to provide an exam assistance station. Due to the changing structure of UniSA study periods in 2017 that has resulted in a very large number of exam periods, it is not possible for USASA to continue to fund the exam assistance station.

We urge students to prepare as best they can for their exams as USASA will not be present to provide assistance. USASA have provided recommendations to the University and exam invigilators of how they can best support students based on USASA’s experiences at past exams. USASA are not aware of any replacement service that is being provided.

If you would like to make a comment to the University regarding the absence of an exam assistance station, please use the UniSA ‘Student Support Services Feedback Form’ at https://i.unisa.edu.au/student-feedback-and-complaints/unisa-services-and-facilities/student-support-services-feedback/

If you have comments for USASA regarding any of the above information, please email USASA at usasa.enquires@unisa.edu.au
