UniSA Creative Arts (Honours) Club

A club dedicated to fundraising for and organising the annual Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) Grad Show

About us

The UniSA Creative Arts (Honours) Club is a representative club for students in the Creative Arts (Honours) program, and is open to students and staff involved in the annual Graduate Show Exhibition. The Creative Arts (Honours) DHAD program is a new UniSA course that brings Honours students together from a variety of creative disciplines including Contemporary Art, Communication Design, Illustration Animation, Product Design, Cultural Studies, Film and Television, Journalism and Professional Writing, Communication and Media, and Creative Writing. This course brings about an exciting amalgamation of interests, skill and insights among students previously engaged in separate Bachelor Degrees. The main purpose of the Club is to facilitate the organising and fundraising for the end-of-year Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) Graduate Show Exhibition. This significant event is solely funded and run by students in the program; it does not typically attract financial sponsorship from industry partners like other programs do such as Law, Business and Science. The Creative Arts (Honours) Graduate Show Exhibition is not a guaranteed annual event. It is entirely dependent on the student administered Grad Show Committee, who engage in grant applications and fundraising efforts to see the successful running of the event. The Graduate Show Exhibition aims to showcase the highest standard of Honours students’ work. We welcome any form of assistance (financial or otherwise) from students or the wider public to aid in the running of this significant event, which showcases outstanding creativity, research and conceptual rigour.

The University of South Australia Student Association acknowledges the Kaurna, Boandik and Barngarla First Nations People as the traditional custodians of the unceded lands now home to the University of South Australia’s campuses in Adelaide, Mount Gambier and Whyalla. We respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging. We also acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia. It was and always will be Aboriginal land.
