Our grant programs aim to support initiatives that enhance the student experience.
Successful initiatives provide opportunities for students to develop the non-academic (or extra-curricular) student experience through:
• Enhancing campus vibrancy
• Supporting clubs and societies to run original and engaging events
• Supporting innovative personal development programs
Club Grant Program
USASA clubs can apply for grants from the Club Grants Program to support their activities and purchases.
- Marketing Grant (max. $500) – For eligible clubs and societies to make purchases of promotional equipment and marketing materials.
- Activity or Equipment Grant (max. $2,500) – For clubs and societies to make large equipment purchases and/or run larger social and fundraising events or activities.
Process:
- Read the Club Grants guidelines (2021)
- Ensure you are eligible
- Decide which grant is relevant
- Check the application deadline
- Meet with the relevant USASA staff member to discuss your grant application (request for a meeting can be made here or email: USASA.grants@unisa.edu.au with any questions)
- Apply for your grant

Leadership Grant Program
Students and non-USASA club affiliated groups can apply for small grants through the Leadership Grants Program to support their activities.
- Leadership Grant ($1,000) – For students to take part in personal development programs and initiatives.
- Activity Grant ($2,500) – For non-divisional and non-USASA affiliated student groups to run large social and fundraising events or activities.
