USASA Financial Wellbeing Service

Need help putting the pieces together?

USASA’s Financial Wellbeing Service is a free, confidential and non-judgmental program available to all UniSA students. Financial health and mental health are intrinsically linked. The state of our mental health and wellbeing can make it harder to get on top of our finances and can lead to experiences of financial stress, which can further impact our mental health.

We know that improving your financial literacy can positively affect our mental wellbeing and other areas of our lives. Through an empowering approach, we are here to support you with one-on-one support during challenging times. By creating engaging content, we aim to prevent financial difficulty through consumer economics education. If you are dealing with financial stress related to debt, rent, utility costs and budgeting problems, a USASA financial wellbeing officer may be able to help you. Our team can help identify your options and give you the necessary information.
