USASA Education Committee

If you’re passionate about education issues at UniSA or you’ve got feedback but don’t know who to contact, then you’ve come to the right place.

The USASA Education Committee exists so student leaders from every Academic Unit at the University can meet and discuss education issues with each other and their USASA student reps. It's student-run, and it meets at 1pm on the second Friday of every month at City West (due to the unfolding COVID 19 situation, these meetings are being held via Zoom for the foreseeable future).

The Education Committee aims to support the views of all students, whether they are domestic, international, undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD. 

If you have a suggestion about UniSA’s teaching and learning from a student perspective, want something put on our agenda, or simply just want a second opinion on an issue affecting your learning, please let us know via the form below. You can remain anonymous if you prefer.

Please note that the Education Committee is unrelated to the USASA Advocacy service. If you need advice on a matter affecting you personally, please visit their page and make an appointment.

Significant Education Committee achievements:

  • Changes to MyCourseExperience platform
  • Fee waivers for the difference between Band 3 and Band 1 courses for students required to take Business courses instead of International Relations courses when the IR degree was being phased out
  • Submission to the University on its Office of Academic Integrity internal review
