After extensive consultation with USASA, the @UniversitySA has announced changes to grading and examinations for the current Semester. USASA welcomes these changes, which will ease the pressure on UniSA students dealing with unprecedented circumstances due to this global health crisis.
As a result of the move to online study, UniSA will be offering students the ability to convert their grades to a Non-Graded pass (NGP), which will not have an effect on your Grade Point Average (GPA).
You will also be able to apply to change a fail grade (F1, F2) to a Withdraw Not Fail (W). This change means if you fail a course this Semester, you can apply to have it not impact your GPA.
Examinations this Semester will be conducted in a different manner to usual, and more information will be coming out regarding this over the next few days.
The University has also confirmed that the remainder of Study Period 2 will be taught online only. Where courses cannot be delivered online, and where it is safe and necessary to do so, teaching will begin next week (27th of April) for things such as practicals, labs and studios. More information regarding this will come from your Program Directors and Course Coordinators.
More information will be released via the FAQ and email over the course of this week, you can check out the FAQ here
USASA would like to thank all of the students who have reached out. Your feedback is crucial, and these changes wouldn't have been possible without you.
USASA once again commends the University of South Australia for their common sense, student-centric approach to their handling of the COVID pandemic.
